About

Specialist science, applied to commercial risk

WorldNerve exists to make advanced satellite deformation analysis accessible to the organisations responsible for properties, infrastructure, and financial risk.

Founder

Who is behind the analysis

Dr. Zeeshan Afzal

Remote Sensing and InSAR Specialist

Dr. Zeeshan Afzal is a remote sensing researcher specialising in SAR, InSAR, and PSInSAR time-series analysis, urban deformation, subsidence, infrastructure monitoring, and satellite-based geohazard assessment.

His research experience spans multi-temporal InSAR and persistent scatterer analysis, urban growth and deformation studies, and earthquake-related change assessment — the same methods WorldNerve applies to commercial property and infrastructure questions.

Every analysis is interpreted scientifically, with data quality, assumptions, and uncertainty documented in the report — no black-box risk scores, and no conclusions the data cannot support.

Why the company exists

From research methods to practical decisions

WorldNerve was created to make advanced satellite deformation analysis more accessible to organisations responsible for properties, infrastructure, and financial risk. The objective is not to replace engineering expertise, but to provide an additional layer of historical evidence that helps decision-makers focus attention where it is most needed.

The methods behind the service — InSAR, PSInSAR, and multi-temporal radar analysis — have decades of scientific literature and operational use behind them. What has been missing is a bridge: someone who can run the analysis to research standards and then write the result for an underwriter, an asset manager, or an engineer who has a decision to make. That bridge is the service.

The company operates internationally. Radar satellites do not care about borders, and neither does the analysis: if suitable data covers your site — on any continent — it can be assessed.

Scientific integrity

Principles the work is held to

State the uncertainty

Every measurement carries uncertainty; every report says how much, and what it means for the conclusion.

Never oversell the data

If the archive cannot answer your question, we say so before you spend money — and suggest what could.

Interpretation over scoring

No black-box risk scores. Conclusions are written, reasoned, and auditable by your own experts.

Support, don't replace, professionals

Satellite evidence complements engineers, underwriters, and geotechnical specialists. It does not substitute for them.

Independence statement

WorldNerve is an independent commercial undertaking. It is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or acting on behalf of any university, research institute, or current or former employer of the founder. Research experience is described to explain capability, not to imply institutional endorsement.

Working together

Collaboration interests

Beyond client engagements, we are open to collaboration with engineering consultancies seeking an InSAR capability for their projects, insurers exploring satellite evidence in underwriting or claims workflows, researchers working on deformation applications, and GIS teams who want deformation layers integrated into their platforms.
